PRF Filler
Looking for a natural dermal filler that utilizes your own blood? A new technique for fillers is to draw and centrifuge your blood to concentrate the growth factors. Parts of this centrifuged product are stripped off and placed in a heater that heats the proteins in a way to prolong their breakdown by the body. This prolonged protein is then mixed with the growth factors previously separated from the centrifuged blood.
The mixed product of concentrated growth factors and heat treated protein (essentially your own blood) are then used as a dermal filler and injected where needed. This acts in a different way than traditional dermal fillers though because this filler encourages collagen growth to rebuild the area. And since this is a product of your own blood, there is no inflammatory response as sometimes seen with manufactured fillers. This filler can last as long as 6 months but the rebuilt collagen should last longer.
