Oral sedation is a popular option for patients with dental anxiety, a sensitive gag reflex, difficulty sitting through longer procedures, or those who simply want a more comfortable dental experience. While you'll remain awake and able to respond to our team, you'll feel deeply relaxed throughout your visit, and many patients remember very little of their treatment afterward.
Our goal is to make every visit as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible. We'll review your medical history, discuss your treatment, and determine whether oral sedation is the right option for you. Because the medication can cause drowsiness, you'll need a trusted friend or family member to drive you to and from your appointment.
IV (Intravenous) Sedation Dentistry
IV sedation helps you feel deeply relaxed and comfortable throughout your treatment, making it an excellent option for patients with dental anxiety, sensitive gag reflexes, or those undergoing longer procedures.
Administered through a small IV, the sedation takes effect quickly and is carefully monitored throughout your appointment. While you'll remain able to respond to instructions, most patients feel calm, comfortable, and remember very little about their visit afterward.
